Faith Hu 胡凤飞
Board Chair 董事长 hufengfei@newtonchineseschool.org Faith was a parent at NCLS for 15 years and was a Weiqi (GO) teacher at the school for one year. Over the years, she was part of the Support Education Program, the Event Committee and PCC, the latter of which she was president of in 2016. She was the vice principal in 2017, and Principal from 2018 to 2020, she currently serves as a Board Chair, with a term starting in 2022. Faith received her BM in medicine from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, MS in Computer Science from Concordia University in Canada, and ECFMG Board Certified in USA. |

Yujuan Yuan 员玉娟
Board Director, Principal 董事, 校长 Yujuan Yun has been working at NCLS as SAT I math /SAT II math teacher for last 19 years, as a Chinese class TA for more than 10 years. Many of her SAT math students got perfect score and being accepted to top universities such as Harvard and MIT. Ms. Yun has been working in Boston Public Schools as a full-time high school math, physics, and Mandarin teacher for more than 10 years. In addition to teaching at PBS, Ms. Yun also worked as a lead teacher, a new teacher developer, a mentor teacher, and a teacher evaluator for many years. Ms. Yun was selected to serve on the Grade 10 Mathematics Assessment Development Committee (ADC) for MCAS as well as being selected to serve on the Math Grade 10 Standard Setting Panel and the Competency Determination Validation Panel for the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System. Ms. Yun started her teaching career in China right after graduated from AnYang Normal University in 1982. She taught all levels of Math and Physics courses for more than 10 years before she came to US. She also worked as a secondary math teacher and physics teacher trainer at Beijing Institute of Education for 6 years. |

Shirley Chen 陈 卉
Board Director 董事 chenhui@newtonchineseschool.org Ms. Chen has been part of the Newton Chinese Language School since 1999. She has been teaching Chinese since 2010. She has worked many roles at NCLS includes TA, Sub-teacher, Grade Leads and more are listed below:
Ms. Chen currently works in a nuclear power company as a senior electrical designer. |

Helen Cao 曹景雁
Board Director 董事 caojingyan@newtonchineseschool.org Helen has participated and involved in school wide activities in NCLS since 2006
Inspired by all former and current volunteers of NCLS, Helen would like to bring her leadership and organizational skills to the school and help the school grow. Helen believes that passion and responsibility will make a community strong. |

Jun Liu 刘 俊
Board Director 董事 Jun Liu joined the Newton Chinese School since her relocation to Boston in 2015. Since then, she has been involved in a variety of school activities at NCLS, including: NCLS PCC member 2017-2022 NCLS PCC Vice Chair 2020-2021 NCLS PCC Chair 2021-2022 NCLS Fundraising Committee 2017-Present NCLS TA 2019- Present NCLS Support Education program member 2020- Present NCLS Event Committee 2021- Present NCLS board member 2021- Present She is enthusiastic about various charity activities. She is the Director of Community Enrichment of the AAA and Board member of GELF. Because of her above mentioned work, Jun received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021. |

Naizhong Chiu 仇奈忠
Board Director 董事 qiunaizhong@newtonchineseschool.org I am a parent at NCLS for 10+ years, and involved with PCC for 5 years, served as PCC chair, vice principal. I also volunteered as a TA in the past. I received my Master’s degree from Northeastern University, and work for Dell/EMC for over 20 years. Currently I am a senior manager in the midrange storage division, leading security feature development. |

Musheng Bao 包木胜
Board Director 董事 Musheng has been with Newton Chinese Language School since 2017. He joined the PCC in 2021, served as Vice Chair in 2023, and is currently the PCC Chair for the 2024-2025 term. Musheng received his Ph.D. from Jilin University and has worked in the field of immunology for more than two decades. He currently serves as Vice President and Head of Biology at a biotech company in the Greater Boston area. |
