We are also happy to present a viola group class for 3-5 students. The viola is played like the violin, however it has a deeper tone and is usually larger than the violin. Due to the general lack of knowledge about this instrument, we typically find high demand for them at the high school and college level. This 45 minute class will introduce basic viola playing techniques and music reading skills through active listening, reading, games, and working together. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend so that they may also learn about ways to help students practice their new skills at home.
